Is assembly difficult?

Not at all! It takes 5–10 minutes using the included plastic driver and 8 screws — no extra tools needed for a stable, stylish lounge. Tip: insert all 4 screws on one side partially first, check the panel is flush, then tighten fully.

What to do if parts don’t align well?

For the best fit, insert all 4 screws loosely on one side first, gently press the panel flush against the frame, then tighten each screw fully. Fully tightening one screw at a time can pull the panel out of alignment before the others are in place.

My cat hasn’t started scratching it yet — is that normal?

Yes, totally normal. Cats often need a few days to adjust. Place it near a favorite spot, add catnip, or gently guide their paws on the surface.

Does it have a smell when you open the packaging?

You may notice an odor when first unboxing, common with cardboard sealed in airtight packaging. It typically fades within 24 hours once unwrapped and aired out in a well-ventilated space. We recommend airing it out before introducing it to your cat.
