Fluval FX6 High Performance Canister Filter for Aquariums Up to 400 Gallons

The Fluval FX6 High Performance Canister Filter is designed to deliver powerful, efficient filtration for aquariums up to 400 gallons. Combining advanced technology with a large media capacity, the FX6 helps create cleaner, healthier water while making aquarium maintenance easier and more convenient. Powered by Smart Pump Technology, the FX6 continuously monitors and optimizes pump performance for maximum efficiency. The self-starting system requires only water and power to begin operation, while an automatic air evacuation cycle removes trapped air every 12 hours to help maintain optimal filtration performance. At the heart of the FX6 is Fluval’s multi-stage filtration system. Precision-engineered, removable media baskets help eliminate water bypass and can hold up to 1.5 gallons (5.9 L) of filtration media. The included mechanical, chemical, and biological media provide comprehensive filtration to help maintain excellent water quality for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The FX6 also features a convenient water change function that helps simplify routine maintenance without the need to lift heavy buckets. Despite its high-capacity performance, the compact 21-inch-tall design fits easily under most aquarium stands. Ideal for large aquariums, community fish tanks, cichlid tanks, freshwater setups, and saltwater systems, the Fluval FX6 delivers reliable, high-performance filtration for serious aquarists.
