How did we get our start?

Trusted since 1985, Scenic is the first extruded bird food crafted from extensive research with 300 bird species in collaboration with leading universities and zoological organizations.

What makes our products unique?

Research-based formulation with balanced vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, and double the protein of other options.

What problem are we solving?

Avian health begins with nutrition and effective dietary management. Scenic offers these benefits in a trustworthy, consistent, and proven formulation with controlled and guaranteed nutrients.

Key Ingredients

Whole grain corn: an important source of energy, healthy fatty acids, and protective B vitamins

Apple pomace: dietary fiber inhibits cardiovascular disease, holds water to cleanse and move food through the gut

Corn protein meal: precursor to cystine component of feather protein that aids feather development

Beet pulp: facilitates digestive motility, adds bulk to stools, and improves gut health

Soybean meal: protein and essential amino acids support the immune system and muscle development

Flaxseed oil: Omegas 3-6 fatty acids and antioxidants for improved skin and immune function

How Do I Convert My Bird to Scenic Bird Food Pellets?

Daily: Always provide fresh water, fruits, and vegetables in a separate dish.

Days 1 – 3: Introduce Scenic in a separate cup away from the old food. Expect your bird to nibble at Scenic in small portions as it gets used to seeing and interacting with it.

Days 3 – 7: Observe your bird’s daily intake. After a few days of progress, start reducing the amount of the old food to about half.

Days 7 – 10: When you are positive that your bird is eating Scenic, reduce the old food to little or nothing. Then, follow our standard protocol.

Feed With Fruits & Vegetables

Although our foods are a complete diet and can be fed alone, adding fruits and vegetables provides variety and interest for your bird.

Picky Parrot? Try Soaking!

Scenic soaks in fruit juice or water without disintegrating. This is a way to entice a picky parrot or feed an impaired or sick parrot.
